Add One Impact SKU

You have a range and a hole in it: one impact model is missing, and the rest of the line is working. This path places that single SKU — defined against the applications it has to cover, the price band and the sizes it has to be sold in — without rebuilding the catalogue around it. One configuration, one position, one decision.

  • One SKU, not a range build
  • Mature orders from 3,000 pairs, light customisation from 6,000, bespoke tooling from 12,000
  • Production window stated on the configuration’s own record
  • First human reply within 1 China business day

The trigger

Who this path is for

It is rarely “add some gloves”. It is one identified gap, usually with a buyer, a tender or a shelf in front of it.

Your own catalogue shows the hole

Cut, general purpose, chemical, cold — and nothing in the range with TPR on the back of the hand. A range review finds it, and the sales team hears about it from the field.

A line item you cannot answer

A tender, a national account or a site standard names impact protection, and the answer needs one model with its sizes, its levels and its packing — not a family of six.

A competitor holds the position

An impact model sells well in your channel and your line has no answer at that price band or in that size band. The gap is commercial before it is technical, and both sides are stated here.

A second near-duplicate would hurt

You already carry something adjacent, and a lookalike would split its sales. This path is about placing one model in a position nothing else occupies, not about padding a catalogue.

What we need

Show us the range you have, then the space you want filled.

The gap is decided against your own line, so your catalogue matters more than our brochure. Ask for the standard NDA before a drawing or a range plan reaches us.

Input

What to send

  • Your range as it stands: model, position, coating, palm, price band, and the sizes each one actually sells in.
  • The gap in your own words — which user, which application, which price band and which size band is not covered.
  • The requirement line for the new model: impact and cut levels asked for, coating, cuff, sizes, and whether a level is a customer's demand or your own target.
  • The volume you can commit over the first two orders, and when the first one is needed.
  • The market and the channel it sells into, and the language of the label.
  • Whether it goes out under your brand. If it does, the light-customisation minimum applies and the private-label path carries the detail.

Method

What we do with it

  • Map the gap against the configurations we already build, and name the closest platform to it.
  • State what would have to change on that platform: packaging, colour, a coating variant, a reinforcement area — or a new TPR geometry, which moves the project.
  • Tell you which of the three routes the SKU falls into, because the minimum and the timeline follow from the route, not from the volume alone.
  • Check the levels you asked for against the construction that can carry them, and say plainly when the combination asked for is not demonstrated.
  • Propose the sizes, the packing and the price band position the model would be sold in, so the range reviews as a line rather than as one article.

After you submit

From a stated gap to a quoted SKU.

A qualified project gets its first human read inside one China business day. Where the model turns out to match a platform we already produce, the route shortens; where it does not, it lengthens, and you are told which before sampling starts.

01

Gap review

The range you sent is read against the requirement line: the position, the levels, the sizes and the price band. Anything ambiguous is asked once, in the same reply.

02

Configuration match

One or two existing platforms are proposed, with the changes each would need and what those changes do to the minimum, the lead time and the claim the SKU can carry.

03

Sample

A free catalogue sample of the best-matching platform, usually one to two weeks to prepare, courier paid by you. On a mature match this step settles the SKU on its own.

04

Trial, where the gap demands it

If the model has to hold up on a crew, on a site or through a season, 100 to 500 pairs run as a prepaid pilot before the first order. Where the match is mature, this step can be skipped.

05

SKU sheet, then the quote

The configuration and its revision, the sizes, the packaging, the levels the model is offered on, and the quote with minimum, production window, payment basis and terms of trade.

Range decision

What this project settles

  • Which configuration occupies the gap, and on which platform.
  • What has to change on that platform, and what that change costs in time and minimum.
  • Whether the model carries your brand or ours.
  • The sizes and the packing it is introduced on.
  • The levels the SKU is offered on, and how far their evidence goes.
  • Whether a field trial is required before the first order.

Reply

What the first reply carries

  • The gap as we understood it, and the position the new model would occupy.
  • The platform we would start from, named, with its existing sizes and its packing options.
  • The route and the minimum that applies to it, in one line.
  • What is not demonstrated yet, and what would have to happen for it to be.

Commercial frame

What adding one model is quoted on.

A single SKU off a platform we already build is a mature order, whatever its level. The moment it needs your logo, your colour, your packaging or a coating variant, the light-customisation minimum applies instead.

Minimum order
3,000 pairs on a mature, unchanged specification; 6,000 pairs with private label or light customisation; 12,000 pairs for bespoke tooling and deep OEM development.
Production window
Stated on the configuration’s own record before anything is ordered. The published records quote 45–60 days from approved sample and deposit for a mature specification; a customised configuration runs longer, and development work is scheduled per project rather than against a catalogue lead time.
Sample
A catalogue sample is free of charge, usually 1–2 weeks to prepare, with the international courier paid by you. A light-custom sample is free for qualified commercial projects on the same courier basis. A bespoke prototype is quoted per project.
Field trial
100–500 pairs, 100% prepaid, where the glove has to prove itself on a crew, on a site or through a season before the first order is placed.
Payment
30% deposit, 70% against B/L copy.
Terms of trade
FOB Qingdao unless the quotation names another basis.
Review window
A first human reply within 1 China business day. A mature configuration is normally quoted within 2 business days once the materials are complete; a replacement or custom project takes 3–5 business days for its first feasibility or quote route.
Issuing entity
STRATAGRIP Safety is the impact-glove brand of PTB Company. Contracts, invoices and export documents are issued under PTB.

Evidence and limits

The claim on the SKU has to survive your own customer.

A model entering a catalogue carries a printed level and a printed size range. Both belong to a revision, and both are answered here before the artwork is set.

Evidence position · read per configuration

A configuration states how far its evidence goes — Field Verified, Lab Verified or Not Verified — and a report speaks only for the configuration it was run on.

If the model you want differs from the tested configuration in material, structure or a performance-relevant process, applicability is reviewed before the earlier result is printed on anything. Where no report exists, the SKU sheet says Not Verified rather than leaving a level unexplained.

Certification and test evidence are answered for the configuration and the market you sell into. Nothing on this site is a brand-wide certification or a performance figure we cannot point to.

Honest limits

What this path is not

It is not a range-building programme. One model is placed; a family of six is a different conversation, and a larger commitment.

It is not a route to a unique glove below 6,000 pairs. A new TPR geometry, a new liner or a new reinforcement belongs to the bespoke path and to its minimum.

It is not a copy service. We do not reverse-engineer a competitor's model or its tooling, and an existing tool of ours is not offered as a substitute for ownership of a design.

It is not held in stock. Each order is produced against an approved revision and carries its batch record, and the buyer is a business rather than a consumer.

Configurations already on the record

Three published models, newest first, read from the site. The gap you bring is decided against these and the rest of the archive rather than in the abstract.

Bring the range you have and the space you want filled.

A list of what you carry, the position that is missing, and the volume you can commit is enough for the first read — and enough for us to say whether one model is the right answer.

Review my SKU requirement

Start the SKU brief

Tell us the gap, and we will name the model.

Four short steps. The clearer the range you describe, the shorter the route to a configuration you can put in the catalogue.
