Case study
Private TPR mould for a European PPE brand’s own flagship glove
Everything below is the stored record of one project: the problem, the diagnosis, the revision, the method used to check it, the result, and where the evidence stops.
- PPE brand owner (mid-size) — product development / brand management
Evidence chain
From problem to result, in the order it happened.
Each step below is the stored record for this project. A step that was not recorded is left out rather than filled in, so the numbering can skip.
Step 1
Problem
The customer was reselling mature third-party brands rather than owning a flagship model. Purchasing cost pressed against margin, and the available moulds were public or ageing private tools with little differentiation.
Step 2
Diagnosis
The recorded account describes pads that held at ambient temperature but lost elasticity after temperature cycling, alongside adhesive overflow around the pads. No test method or report was provided for that observation, and it must not be read as a finding about any brand's product.
Step 3
Revision / solution
Several TPR design directions were put forward. The chosen route was a dedicated private mould developed for the project, with colour, thickness and logo adjusted to the customer's brand.
Honesty boundary
Limitations
This is a spoken account. No client permission document, sample identification, test method, report or field record was supplied with it. Nothing here is a verified performance claim, and no product name or client identity is disclosed.
Field validation
Put your own project through this chain.
Send the glove in use, the site conditions and the failure you are seeing. The evaluation runs the same chain end to end, and nothing about your project is published unless you agree in writing.
